The original layout of this 1990s kitchen didn’t work for this busy family who desired a brighter, updated open floor plan. Removing a wall made the biggest change. Then we reconfigured the pantry and added an oversized island and separate coffee and wine bar. The breakfast area now consists of a built-in banquette to provide extra seating for frequent visitors.
